Bio Fuel Oil

The heavier component produced during the distillation process is residue stream called Bio Fuel Oil (BFO).

This can be used as a renewable fuel oil in various boiler and heating applications. BFO reduces the environmental impact of the manufacturing process.

Also, by incorporating further processing steps, Argent Energy is working with the marine sector to customise this product so it can contribute to decarbonising sea transport.

Our enhanced BFO meets the technical specifications as fuel for seagoing vessels. This exciting development has led to the first successful trials and subsequent supply that will continue in the coming years.
