2005

Production starts at Motherwell site

Investment of £17 million. Capability of 45k tonnes per annum

2007

First biodiesel producer in Europe to utilise high risk category 1 tallow

2008

Commercial relationship begins with Stagecoach

First bus fleet in Scotland converted to run on bio diesel. Additional new customers switch to high bio blend diesel

2009

Pre treatment plant commissioned

£1.8 million investment. Award won for "Most Sustainable Biodiesel Producer”

2010

Argent Energy awarded World Biodiesel Corporation of the Year World Refining Association

Trials using Argent Biodiesel start with Transport for London

2011

Fuel supply rolled out across Scotland

Awarded Manufacturing and Processing UK winner. Ernst And Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards

2012

Fuel supply rolled out across England

Awarded the Green Business of the year 2012 Scottish Business Awards and most innovative green product Insider Magazine

Installation of pioneering technology to improve sustainability to provide a sustainable and environmentally successful use for problematic, low cost waste streams and complete a new value chain from food waste to bio diesel.

Successful tailpipe and emissions testing in conjunction with TFL where CO2 emissions were reduced by 14% using B30 biodiesel (Millbrook trial)

Acquisition of Argent Oil Terminal
